Georgian Court

Georgian Court is a non-smoking apartment complex with 48 self-contained, single occupancy one bedroom units.  As this building is subsidized by BC Housing, the rent is $375.00 per month including utilities.  Georgian Court has been established as a transitional housing complex with a two year tenancy for the residents.

John Howard Society of the Thompson Region has a number of partners who refer clients to Georgian Court.  The Agency works with Interior Health Authority – Mental Health & Addictions, Adult Forensics, Correctional Service Canada and the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation. The John Howard Society also houses individuals from the agencies public waitlist.

The Agency staff provide support services to our residents that are based on the goals that the residents set for themselves.  Our staff assist the resident with a variety of life skills enhancement programs which fosters self-reliance and independence.
