Oasis - 2nd Stage Housing

Oasis is short term, usually 3 - 8 months. During their stay, residents work one-on-one with an Addictions Worker to help strengthen their recovery plan and to support educational and career goals, as needed. In doing so, residents continuing to develop the skills they need to live a successful, independent life.  We continue to connect our residents with community resources, including AA and NA meetings, drug and alcohol counselling and volunteer opportunities.

To be accepted into the program, clients agree to:

• Abstain from using any alcohol or illicit drugs during residency
• Respect the rights, views, and property of other residents
• Maintain a violence and abuse-free environment
• Be willing to continue to develop and actively work on one’s personal recovery plan
• Participate in Supportive Recovery Program Activities including groups, individual counselling, house meetings and connections with community resources
• Be willing to abide by our Client Agreement and Operating Guidelines
• Contribute to the meal preparation and cleanliness of the residence
• Be willing to secure employment, a volunteer placement or an educational pursuit
• Participate in one’s own responsible medication administration, when using approved medications
• Be willing to pay a $375 per month Program Residency fee as well as a $175.00 security deposit.
