External Housing

The external housing program provides support and program assistance to John Howard Society clients by securing affordable private housing within the community. Clients continue to access John Howard Society Programs and Services while developing their life skills and independence.

Clients reside in shared accommodation with two to three other clients, maintaining cooking, bathroom and common areas. Support is provided to ensure clients are transitioned from a shelter environment to a communal setting successfully.
