JHSNOK - Vernon FACILITIES

JHSNOK operates two facilities in the Vernon area:  Gateway Men's and Women's Emergency Shelter (high barrier) and Howard House (low barrier) with emergency shelter beds, transition beds and A & D supportive recovery program beds.

Gateway Shelter

The shelter provides men & women emergency shelter in the downtown core area of Vernon to the absolute homeless who may be suffering from economic downturn, illiteracy, addictions or mental health challenges. We supply accomodations for 13 men and 15 women.

Howard House - Men’s Shelter

The Howard House Men's Shelter provides 24 emergency shelters beds, 14 transitional beds and 9 beds for our supportive recovery program.
